This project was completed in order to analyze the failure type commonly associated with the Medtronic Valiant Navion. This project describes the type IIIb failure associated with the device, and provides analytical stress test analyses models to determine stretching patterns in and around the aneurism site as a result of the force of fluid flow patterns through the channel.
